Have a saved game from "Puyo Puyo Fever" to place characters from that game in the background graphics of the settings screen.
To view the original Japanese disc art, start the system with the disc lid open. Put it into the CD player mode, then put in a Dreamcast game that was originally released in Japan. Wait for it to load and, instead of the red and white disc, the disc will be the Japanese disc cover. Note: This works on most but not all games (for example, "Shenmue" and "Marvel vs. Capcom 2").
To play your own music during games, take out one of the audio cables on your console that connects to the TV input. Using an AV cable with a speaker connector (¼" (6.35 mm) stereo (TRS) connector) at one end and an RCA Audio connector at the other, plug the RCA end into your TV input. Connect the other end of the AV cable to a CD player or similar audio device into the headphone port while making sure that the console still connects to the TV in the same place. Turn on both devices and start a game. In the options setting for the game, turn the sound effects volume up and the music volume down (not all games will have this option, but do it on the games that do). Meanwhile, start playing your own music through the audio player device. In the game, you should hear the sound effects perfectly while your own music is playing.
