To gain 99 balls, hold 1, 3 and 5 after the brick formation appears but before the ball is released.

To advance to the next level, hold 1, 6 and 7 after the brick formation appears but before the ball is released.

To advance to the next world, hold 1, 5 and 7 after the brick formation appears but before the ball is released.

For a super ball, hold 7, 8, 9 and 1 after the brick formation appears but before the ball is released.

For a lightning cannon, hold 7, 8, 9 and 2 after the brick formation appears but before the ball is released.

To enable catch mode, hold 7, 8, 9 and 4 after the brick formation appears but before the ball is released.
