For unlimited ammunition, hold , , , , and at the control options screen. You will hear a sound if the code has been entered correctly.
To access the boss fights, start a new game and enter 1328 as a code to start at Sector 2. Complete Sectors 2, 3, and 4, then enter 1008 as a code to go back to Sector 1. After Sector 1 has been completed, the bosses from all four Sectors will have to be fought in order.
