Level skip

To skip the first level, hold Up and press Select, I and II together. To skip subsequent levels, hold Down and press Select, I and II together.

Second loop

For the second loop, hold Up, Select, I and II together and press Run at the title screen.

Debug mode

For debug mode, hold Run then hold Select to reset the game. Keep the buttons held, then release Run and press Up when the title screen is displayed. Release Select and press Up, Up, Up, Right, Right, Right, Right, Right, Right, Down, Down, Left, then Left. Invincibility and level select will now be enabled.

Three continues

For three continues, hold I, II and Right and press Run, then Run when the phrase "The End" appears after the game is over. Alternatively, hold I, II and Down and press Run at the title screen after the game is over. The game will continue up to three times from the start of the last level played.
