To continue, hold I and II and press Run, then Run at the "Game Over" screen.

Invincibility

For invincibility, hold Diagonal Down/Right and Select and press Run at the title screen. Select Mark as a character and press II, then I to begin playing.

Bonus level

To fly the jet from "Afterburner" in a bonus level, finish in first place (getting the gold trophy) in each of the nine levels.

Cheat mode

For cheat mode, hold Diagonal Down/Right, I and Select and press Run at the title screen. Then, follow the instructions below at the character selection screen to activate the corresponding cheat function. You can activate multiple codes by pressing II on one character and then on another one before selecting a player.

Cheat function	Instructions
Always win race	Highlight Lucy, then hold II and press I to start the game.
No sounds	Highlight Jeronimo, then hold II and press I to start the game.
Sound test	Highlight Emily and press II to change the music.
Stage select	Highlight Jason, then press II for the number of levels you wish to skip, then press I to start the game.
Thin screen view	Highlight Eric, then hold II and press I to start the game.
