Extra 256 points

For an extra 256 points each time points are earned, hold II and power on the system. Keep II held until the title screen appears then press Up, Up, Up, Up, Down, Down, Down, Down, Up, Down, Left, then Right. Release II and begin game play. Each time points are earned, you will earn an additional 256 points.

Extra time

For extra time, hold Select and power on the system. Keep Select held until the title screen appears then press Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Left, Right, Right, Up, Down, Left, then Right. Release Select and begin game play. You will now have 200 seconds remaining instead of 99.

Retry levels

To retry levels, wait until the game is over, then select "No" at the "Continue" screen to return to the title screen. Press and hold Run to enter the main menu. While Run is still held, press Up, Up, Up, Right, Right, Right, Down, Down, Down, Left , Left, then Left. A sound will confirm the code has worked. Start a new game and press Run during game play to access a new option that allows you to restart the current level.
