Final Boss battle

For the final battle, hold Down and I and press Run at the "Input your birthday" screen.

Sound test

For a sound test, hold Up and I and press Run at the "Input you birthday" screen. Run must be pressed for a precise amount of time for this to work. If it doesn't work first time, try again.

Adjust brightness

To adjust the brightness, enable the sound test by holding Up and I and pressing Run at the "Input you birthday" screen. Then, press Select, Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, II, then I at the sound test menu.

Mini-game

To access the mini-game, enable the sound test by holding Up and I and pressing Run at the "Input you birthday" screen. Then, enable the "Adjust brightness" code by pressing Select, Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, II, then I at the sound test menu. Now, hold Select until a flashing red screen appears, then press II, Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, II, then I. Use the Directional Pad to move, II to shoot, and I to fire a smart bomb during the mini-game.

Monochrome mode

For monochrome mode, press Select fifteen times in level one during game play. Press Run to pause the game, then hold I and press Up.

Unlimited extra lives

For unlimited extra lives, pause and resume game play one hundred times. All enemies that are shot will turn into bonus lives.
