Continue game

To continue playing, press I and II together, then quickly hold Run and press Select at the title screen to reset the game. Repeatedly tap or hold Diagonal Down/Left and Select together immediately until the phrase "Continue Mode" appears. The number of continues allowed is equal to this formula: (Score/1 000 000) + 3.

Easy mode

For easy mode, press I and II together, then quickly hold Run and press Select at the title screen to reset the game. Repeatedly tap or hold Diagonal Up/Right and Select immediately until the phrase "Easy Mode" appears. In this mode, power and the units awarded at the end of each level is doubled.

Difficult mode

For difficult mode, press I and II together, then quickly hold Run and press Select at the title screen to reset the game. Repeatedly tap or hold Diagonal Down/Right and Select immediately until the phrase "Difficult Mode" appears.

Music test

For a music test, press I then hold Run and press Select during game play to reset the game. Repeatedly tap or hold Diagonal Up/Left and Select together immediately until the title screen appears. Reset the game to return to game play.

Boss bonus

10 000 points are awarded if full energy is remaining after defeating the boss of any level. For each additional boss defeated with full energy, the point bonus is doubled.
