To view hint A, press Left, I, Left, Select, Left, II, Left, then Select at the title screen.

To view hint B, press Select, Right, II, I, Select, Left, Select, then II at the title screen.

View hint C

To view hint C, press Right, Right, Right, Right, Select, II, Select, then I at the title screen.

Twenty lives

For 20 lives, pess Up, Down, Left, Right, II, I, II, then I at the title screen. A sound will confirm the code has worked. Select the "Continue" option to begin the game with the extra lives.

Speed shoes power-up (Hyper item 1)

For the speed shoes power-up, press II, Left, Right, II, I, Select, II, then I at the title screen. A sound will confirm the code has worked. Select the "Continue" option to begin the game with the power-up.

Double rainbows power-up (Hyper item 2):

For the double rainbows power-up, press Right, I, Select, II, I, Left, II, then Right at the title screen. A sound will confirm the code has worked. Select the "Continue" option to begin the game with the power-up.

Fast rainbows (Hyper item 3)

For the fast rainbows power-up, press Select three times, Left, Left, Right, Right, Select at the title screen. A sound will confirm the code has worked. Select the "Continue" option to begin the game with the power-up.

Wings (Hyper item 4)

For the wings power-up, hold II and press I, then release both buttons at the title screen. Repeat this two additional times, then press Right, then Select. A sound will confirm the code has worked. Select the "Continue" option to begin the game with the power-up.

Fairy (Hyper item 6)

For the fairy power-up, press Select, I, II, Left, Right, I, Select, then Right at the title screen. A sound will confirm the code has worked. Select the "Continue" option to begin the game with the power-up.

Continue after Island 5 (Hyper item 7):

To continue after Island 5, press Left, II, Select, I, Right, Left, I, then Left at the title screen. A sound will confirm the code has worked. Select the "Continue" option to begin game play with the cheat enabled.

Food becomes money bags (Hyper item 8):

To make food become money bags, press Right, Right, Left, Left, II, II, I, then Select at the title screen. A sound will confirm the code has worked. Select the "Continue" option to begin the game with the power-up.
