Level select

For a level select, press Up, Up, Down, Down, Down, Down, Down, I, I, then Run when the phrase "Push Run Button" appears on the title screen. Then, highlight "Option", hold Left and press Run.

Level skip

To skip to the next level, pause the game during a play and press Right, Left, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right, Left, I, I, I, I, I, then II. Resume game play and press I, II, Left and Select at the same time.

Control friendly character

To control the friendly character, plug in a second controller when a friendly character appears and press Run and Select.

Faster scrolling

For faster scrolling, pause the game during a play and press I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I (that's 15 times), then II. Resume game play and hold I to scroll faster.

Full shield

For full shield, pause the game during a play and press II, Select, Right, Select, Down, Select, I, then I. Note: This code may only be enabled once per game.

Split screen mode

For split screen mode, pause the game during a play and press I, I, I, Up, Up, Up, Select, Select, then Select.

In-game reset

For an in-game reset, pause the game, hold Select and press Run.
