Unlimited continues

For unlimited continues, hold Select and enter 68K as initials on the high score screen.

Overlapping characters

For overlapping characters, plug a multi tap with a controller into port 2. Select two-player mode and pause the game, then replace the multi tap and controller with a single controller. Resume game play for overlapping characters.

Continue from last game location

To continue from the last game location, press Left, Right, Down, Up, then hold Select and press Left at the "Game Over" screen.

Sound test

For a sound test, hold I and II and press Run at the title screen.

Hard mode

For hard mode, get a high score five times and enter the same name at the name entry screen each time.
