Extra options (Japanese version)

Enter the following Hiragana password: I-Wa-Sa-Ki-Hi-Ro-Ma-Sa. Ignore the incorrect password message and choose the "Continue" option. An options menu will appear at the bottom of the second saved game screen.

Debug menu (Japanese version)

For a debug menu, select "Continue", then choose the second option from the bottom. Select any of the five numbers to enter the password entry screen. Enter the following Japanese characters as your password, in row-column format: 1-1, 1-1, 3-13, 3-13, 2-13, 2-13, 1-1, 1-1, 1-12, 1-12, 1-13, 1-13, 2-4, 2-4, 3-3, 3-3. Select "End", then choose the "No" (right) option when prompted. Begin the game, then hold I and press Select to display the "Debug" menu.

Slow motion (Japanese version)

For slow motion, select "Continue", then choose the second option from the bottom. Select any of the five numbers to enter the password entry screen. Enter the following Japanese characters as your password, in row-column format: 2-11, 1-14, 4-6, 4-1, 2-12, 3-15, 1-12. Select "End", then choose the "No" (right) option when prompted. Begin the game, then hold Run and press I to advance frame by frame.

Sound test and item viewer (Japanese version)

For a sound test and item viewer, select "Continue", then choose the second option from the bottom. Select any of the five numbers to enter the password entry screen. Enter the following Japanese characters as your password, in row-column format: 1-2, 4-1, 1-11, 1-7, 2-12, 3-15, 3-1, 1-11. You will return to the previous menu. Press II to return to the main menu. Press Right to see the numbers increase, and the last option will change to a new selection. Choose the new option to access the sound test and item viewer.
