Extra Damage

Hit opponents using the Cutman blade or Elecman beam. At the moment the opponent gets hit, rapidly tap Start or Select repeatedly to allow the single hit to be counted as multiple attacks.

Hint: Defeating the Bosses

Boss	Tips for defeating
Bomb Man	Use the Arm Cannon (Mega Man's weapon).
Guts Man	Use Hyper Bombs (Bomb Man's weapon), or use Regular shot and jump over his stones.
Cut Man	Use Super Arm (Guts Man's weapon) to lift the blocks up. Throw the stones underneath the door at him. Score both hits, and he will be defeated. Note
Elec Man	Use Cut Blade (Rolling Cutter) (Cut Man's weapon).
Ice Man	Use Elec Beam (Elec Man's weapon). Pause and resume the game by pressing Select repeatedly.
Fire Man	Use Ice Slasher (Ice Man's weapon). This can also freeze the fire/obstacles that appear in some sections of this stage, which will allow you to reach places that Mega Man cannot.

Hint: Defeating Bubbles

The Bubbles are located on the third stage of Dr. Wily's Fortress. To defeat them, hit the slow ones with the Arm Cannon (Mega Man's weapon), then use the Super Arm to pick up the blocks and throw them at the fast ones.

Hint: Defeating the Clone of Mega Man

The Clone of Mega Man is located on the second stage of Dr. Wily's Fortress. To defeat him, hit him with the Elec Beam (Elec Man's weapon) or Hyper Bombs (Bomb Man's weapon) and use the "Extra damage" trick by pressing Select repeatedly.

Hint: Defeating Dr. Wily

Dr. Wily is located in the last stage of his Fortress. To defeat him, hit him with the Fire Storm (Fire Man's weapon). After part of his machine is destroyed, hit him with the Elec Beam (Elec Man's weapon) and use the "Extra damage" trick by pressing Select repeatedly. After that, his machine will be destroyed and the game will end.

Hint: Defeating The Rock Monster

The Rock Monster is located on the first stage of Dr. Wily's Fortress. To defeat him, hit him with the Elec Beam (Elec Man's weapon) and use the "Extra damage" trick by pressing Select repeatedly.

Hint: Getting inside Dr. Wily's Castle

In the first stage of Dr. Wily's Castle, you will start outside. To get inside, use Guts Man's Gutsman Arm and press B to get Mega Man to pick the big blocks when you encounter them. Press B again to get Mega Man to throw them. You can also use Elec Man's Elec Man Beam.

Hint: Magnet Beam

The Magnet Beam is found in Elec Man's Stage. You need to use Guts Man's Super Arm to break some big blocks in order to reach it. Alternatively, you can use Elec Man's Elec Beam. The Magnet Beam is a tool that Mega Man can use to reach places that he normally cannot go to. This is useful in Ice Man's Stage and is required to get through a section in the first Stage of Dr. Wily's Fortress.
