Bonus cards

To gain bonus cards, use a link cable and download the mini-game to a Game Boy Advance. Play through the mini-game to unlock bonus Monster Cards in the main game.

Pull And Stretch Power

To gain Power 2 to edit your monster's lines, collect the Vision Orb after completing the Goofy Route on the Intermediate Course. Power 2 will now be available in the Hall Of Life.

Monster Creation Power

To gain Power 1, which allows you to create a monster with the attributes you specify, without going through the interview process, collect the Vision Orb after completing Beginner Course. Power 1 will now be available in the Hall Of Life.

Size Power

To gain Power 3, which allows you to resize and move body parts, collect the Vision Orb after completing the Strict Route on the Intermediate Course. Power 3 will now be available in the Hall Of Life.

Slide Pattern Power:

To gain Power 4, which lets you slide a pattern after choosing a texture and pattern for your monster, collect the Vision Orb after completing the Dash Route on the Advanced Course. Power 4 will now be available in the Hall Of Life.

Stamp mode

To unlock Stamp mode, get the fourth Vision Orb from the Advanced course.

Paint mode

To unlock Paint mode, which allows you to customize individual colours of body parts, get the third Vision Orb from the Advanced course to unlock Paint mode.

Piggy mode

To unlock Piggy mode, find the black-spotted pig inside the store near the second course. If you talk to him, he will ask, "Oink?". If you answer "Yes", he will say,"Oiiiiiink!!!", and you will hear a noise to confirm Piggy mode is active. Piggies will then replace something in that particular game.

Sound test

To unlock the sound test, successfully complete the game.

Hint: Black Evil

After catching the Magma Ball, start spinning as fast as you can get without hitting the edge. Try to pause the game while the spin meter is in green. After that, resume the game and immediately press A. This should result in a red hit most of the time. If you time the catch correctly, you will stay put and hurl the magma ball back at full power. Usually, the correct time to press A is just before the magma ball touches the creature's outstretched arms.

Hint: Spin Road mini-game

You can use your fully-charged spin attack as a jump. When you reach the moving path floating in the lava, step onto the first moving panel, then "jump" over the pit. When you reach the highest point of the course, go down one floor and "jump" from the edge of the platform. Most monsters will be able to land on the ending from there.
