To prevent catches while on defense, if the offense throws a far ball, switch to play as the defender that is guarding the receiver. Push or run into the receiver and it will result in an incomplete pass.
To cause the opposing player to fumble the ball, press while on defense and you and the offensive player with the ball are charging each other. This will not work every time.
