Level Select

This cheat will only work for a 2-player game. Press Pause 12 times at the title screen, then hold Diagonal Up/Left on controllers 1 and 2 and press 1 and 2 on controller 2.

Sound Test

For a sound test, press Pause 4 times at the title screen, then press 1 on controller 2.

Wide Beam

For the Wide Beam option, press Pause 14 times at the title screen, then press 1 on controller 1.

Pro Action Replay Codes

This cheat requires the Pro Action Replay cheat device.
