Stage select

For a stage select, press Left, Up, Right, Down, Down, Right, Right, Up, then R at the title screen while the phrase "Press Start Button" is displayed. The words "Betsy's Room" will appear if the cheat has worked. Press Up and Down to choose a stage.

Start at the final stage

To start at the final stage, enable the "Stage select" cheat by pressing Left, Up, Right, Down, Down, Right, Right, Up, then R at the title screen while the phrase "Press Start Button" is displayed. Instead of pressing Up or Down to select a stage, press Left, Right, Right, Up, Right, Right, Up, Down, Right, Right, Up, then R. Then, press Up, then Up to display the "Last Boss" option on the stage selection screen.

999 lives

To start with 999 lives, press Up, Right, Right, Right, Right, Right, Right, Right, Right, Right, Down, Down, Down, Down, Down, Down, Left, Left, Left, Left, Left, Left, Left, Z, X, Y, Y, Y, then Z at the title screen while the phrase "Press Start Button" is displayed. The opening theme song will restart if the cheat has worked.

1 000 000 point bonus

For 1 000 000 bonus points, finish stage 2-2 in under 30 seconds.
