Debug mode

For debug mode, press A, B, Right, A, C, A, Down, A, B, Right, then A at the Sonic Team logo screen. A sound will confirm this part of the code has worked. Press Up, Down, Left, Right, then A and Start at the title screen. A sound will confirm this part of the code has worked. Highlight one of Elliot's dreams and press X, Y, Z, Y, X, then Start. Pause game play as Elliot, then press Right, A, Left, Left, Y, then Start. Collect fifty orbs and jump, then pause game play while In mid-air and the debug screen will appear.

Full pause screen

To remove the text from the pause screen, press Start to pause the game, then hold X, Y and Z.

Two-player mode

To unlock a "2-player VS" selection on the options menu, defeat Reala.

No star trail

For no star trail, begin game play and complete Stick Canyon in the Act 3. Enter the magnet, press A, B, C and Start, and select any level. Press A, B, C and Start to return to normal.

Hidden images

To view hidden images, put the game disc in a PC compatible CD-ROM drive and look in the "EXTRAS" directory.

New theme song

To hear the theme song sung by adults instead of children, complete the game with straight A's.

Song debug

For song debug, pause the game and hold L, R and Y. A row of numbers representing the current song and song part will appear. The numbers have the following meaning:
