Start with 6 lives

To start the game with six lives, set the Saturn's internal clock to a time between 10:00 am and 11:00 am and start the game.

Yuna and Manto

For the extra characters, Yuna and Manto, hold L and R at the "Match Play" screen. These two characters have special abilities. You will also unlock the expert opponent setting using this code.

All weapons

For all weapons, hold L, R, A and Diagonal Up/Left at the title screen. A sound will confirm the code has worked.

Hidden characters

For hidden characters, enter the following controller sequence at the opening screen featuring two Bombermen dancing. Hold L and R and press Diagonal Up/Left and A, then Diagonal Up/Left and B, then Diagonal Up/Right and C. A chime will sound after each portion of the code is entered if it has been entered correctly. Two additional characters will then be selectable in battle mode.

Adjust time of day

To adjust the time of day, hold X, Y and Z at the stage selection screen. A sound will confirm the code has worked. Press Up or Down to select morning, noon, evening, or night settings.

Full pause screen

To remove the "Paused" text from the screen, pause the game and press X, Y and Z.

View ending sequence

To view the ending sequence, hold L and R and press Down and Z at the opening screen featuring two Bombermen dancing.

Slot machine items

To gain extra items, clear the enemies on the first sage of the Wild West level, then bomb the cactus in the centre of the level multiple times until the eyes begin to spin like a slot machine. Hit the slots with bombs to stop the them from turning and various items will appear upon matching the slots.

Avoid losing life

To avoid losing life, obtain any type of dinosaur, then press L and R immediately before a bomb explodes when you have become trapped. You will keep the current life and your dinosaur will be in good condition.

Level select and full power-ups

To choose a starting level, enter one of the following button commands when "Press Start" appears on the title screen. Game play will begin at the corresponding level with full power-ups.
