Fight as Dural

To fight as Dural, press Down, Up, Right, then A and Left together at the character selection screen. A sound will confirm the code has worked.

Fight as Gold Dural

To fight as Gold Dural, press Down, Up, Left, then A and Left together at the character selection screen. A sound will confirm the code has worked.

Slow motion replay

For a slow motion replay, hold Down, A, B and C during the replay.

Replay taunts

To override your character's default taunt, hold A, B, or C during the replay.

Alternative costume colours

For alternative costume colours, press Up, A and C at the character selection screen to choose your character.

View credits

To view the credits, hold A, B, C, X, Y and Z at the same time during the opening demonstration.

Slow motion name entry

For slow motion name entry, complete the game and hold L and R before the name entry screen appears.

Fight the Alphabet fighter (as Shun-di)

To fight the Alphabet fighter (as Shun-di), complete the game and hold A, Z and Up before the name entry screen appears. The Alphabet fighter will use Shun Di's moves to fight your character.

Fight the Alphabet fighter (as Dural):

To fight the Alphabet fighter (as Dural), complete the game and hold L, R, X, Y and Z before the name entry screen appears. The Alphabet fighter will use Dural's moves to fight your character.

Watch mode options

Press Start when the selection box highlights a character to choose that character to fight. Press X to change the view from side to sweeping.

Listen to Virtua Fighter music

To listen to Virtua Fighter music, load the game disc with a Stunner game gun in port two.

Listen to Jacky's Virtua Fighter music:

To listen to Jacky's Virtua Fighter music, hold R on controller 2 just before the match begins.

Listen to Sarah's Virtua Fighter music:

To listen to Sarah's Virtua Fighter music, hold R on controller 1 just before the match begins.

Configure controller

To toggle between controller configurations, hold L or R and press Left or Right on the character selection screen.

Full pause screen

To remove the text from the pause screen, pause the game, then press X, Y and Z simultaneously.

Option plus menu

For the Options Plus menu, complete the game at any difficulty level, then press R, then R at the options screen. Ring size, stage select, slow mode, and BGM volume can be adjusted from this menu. Alternatively, press Up, Up, Up, Up, Up, Up, Up, Up, Up, Up, Up, Up, then Start at the title screen, enter the options screen and press R, then R.

Dural FMV sequence

To view Dural FMV sequences, complete the game under the hard level with no losses and all knockouts. You may set these options for an easier game with ring outs:

Damage on Life Meter: No
Time: Infinite
Number of Matches: One
Ring Size: 42 Meters

Invincibility

For invincibility, enter the options screen and go to the damage for the player done. The damage options are largest, larger, normal, smaller, smallest, and no damage. Choose this for player 1 or 2. If you are playing against the CPU, set it only for player 1.

Alternative costumes in demo

The fighters will appear in their original outfits during the demo in version 2.0 of the game. They will appear in their second outfit during the demo in version 2.1 of the game.

Hint: Ultimate taunt

To have your fighter display his/her ultimate taunt, defeat your opponent without receiving any damage or using ringouts.
