EX mode

To play in EX mode, which features more powerful characters, select any fighter at the character selection screen, then highlight the "Speed" selection and press C, C, C, C, C then C. Now, highlight "Power" and press B, B then B. Finally, highlight "Speed" again and press C, C, C then C. Game play will resume in EX mode.

Fight as Hagure

To fight as Gagure, select arcade, versus, or training mode, then highlight Akari on the character selection screen and press C, C, C, C,C, C, C, C, B, B, B, B, B, B,B, B then B. Pause the game for one second, then press C. Akari will speak if the code has worked. Press A or D to select Hagure.

Fight as Kouryu

To fight as Kouryu, select arcade, versus, or training mode, then highlight Kaede on the character selection screen and press C, C, C, C, C ,C, C, C, C, C, B, B, B, B, B, C, C, C then C. Kaede will speak is the code has worked. Press A to select Kouryu.

Fight as Unawakened Kaede

To fight as Unawakened Kaede, select arcade, versus, or training mode, then highlight Kaede on the character selection screen and press C, C, C, C, C, C, C, C, C, B, C, C, C then C. Kaede will speak if the code has worked. Press A or D to select Kouryu.

Special Kotetsu introduction

To view the Special Kotetsu introduction, select arcade, versus, or training mode, then highlight Kotetsu on the character selection screen and press C, C, C, C, C, B, B, B, B, B, B, B, B, B, B, C then C. Kotetsu will speak if the code has worked. Press A or D to select Kotetsu. An introduction sequence with Kotetsu being thrown out of the stage by Shigen be shown.
